The BIC Ltd, Kanpur proposes to sell following items on as is where basis
is. Sealed tenders are invited from Agents / Dealers / Individuals interested
in purchasing the same.
The bids should be in two parts
(I)
Technical Bid & (II) Financial Bid. Technical bid
should contain all relevant documents, Earnest Money Deposit, Quantity,
Payment terms etc. Financial bid will contain only the quoted price
of the item. The technical bid and the financial bid should be in two
separate envelops and the envelops should be marked “technical
bid for the item-----and financial bid for the item-----" along
with the name and address of the firm. Sealed envelops containing technical
and financial bids should be placed in another envelop duly sealed and
marked with tender for purchase of Worsted Shirting / Worsted Serge
and should not bear the name and address of the firm. Interested parties
may send their tenders to Manager (Marketing)

TERMS
AND CONDITIONS
1. |
Parties
can inspect the goods by contacting General Manager of the mills
concerned / undersigned between 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on the given
date. |

Tenders
without the requisite earnest money shall not be considered. The
earnest money will be in the
form of demand draft in favour of The British India Corporation
Limited payable at Kanpur. . |

If
the bidding is done for more than one item then the amount spcified
for each item as EMD should be
added together and submitted as one EMD. |
4. |
Tenders
will be accepted up to 1.30 P.M on 17th Aug 2006 and opened at 4.00
p.m. on the same day in
presence of intending tenderers who wish to be present. |
5. |
Total
quantity for which the bid would be accepted shall have to be lifted
from the concerned mills within a month from the date of allotment
letter against 100 % payment by way of demand draft in favour of
"The British India Corporation Limited Kanpur.The Earnest money
will be adjusted in the last consignment to be lifted by the party.

6. |
If
lifting of goods is made after expiry of the above mentioned period
of one month the liquidated damages will be charged @ 0.5% per week. |
7. |
All
disputes and differences arising out of or in any way concerning
to this agreement shall be referred to the Sole Arbitrator to be
appointed by the Chairman & Managing Director , the BIC Limited,
Kanpur. |
BIC reserves the right to reject any or all offers without assigning
